Ila Scholarship Application Instructions:
- 1. Write an essay between 500-2500 words including:

a. Your past accomplishments and how they resemble the qualities and experiences of Ila.
b. Your goals for the future and how receiving the “Ila Scholarship” will assist you in making them happen.

- 3. Submit copies of any other letters of award or scholarship.
- 4. Submit proof of enrollment/acceptance.
- 5. Submit a copy of the Student Aid Report (SAR) from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) FAFSA.ed.gov
- 6. Submit all forms and documents listed above to: scholarship@ilaorr.org by April 16 of calender year.
The ideal applicant:
1) Must be accepted to a full time program of study for the following academic year.
2) Must possess a minimum 2.8 cumulative grade point average.
3) Must exhibit a strong sense of community and civic-mindedness.
4) Must have a well-rounded representation of extracurricular activities.
5) Must demonstrate financial need.
The recipients of the scholarship will be expected to provide:
1) The Student Aid Report (SAR) from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application and additional supporting financial documentation, including recipients? social security number.
2) Copies of transcripts for each year that the scholarship is awarded.
